A Living Love ::

Because the country I am in is a restricted access nation, I must be creative and find ways to share the love of Christ with those around me.  Since coming to this country, God has shown me His ability to reach the “unreached”. 

I made great friends with my next door neighbours.  The *Wong’s are a family of six; four of which are children.  I made a great connection with the 19 year old daughter who was able to speak English.  She spent many evenings at my place and I was able to share the truth and even read the bible and pray with her.  *Lily Wong was eager to hear the Gospel as she searches for hope and meaning in her life.  She told me that it isn’t typical for Chinese to tell each other that they love them.  Lily told me that since knowing me and learning about “true love” in our Senior Youth class that she now tells her friends and family she loves them all the time.  The night before I returned to Canada, Mrs. Wong (Lily’s mother)  came over to say goodbye and shared with me that she went to the local church and became a Christian.
