He was a young man studying Business English
at a prestigious university in Southeast Asia. He had his goals,
his ambitions, and his dreams before him. Yet there was a longing
deep inside his heart. Something within cried out, "Where do I belong? What is my purpose for being on this earth?".
They were a young married couple from Southwestern
Ontario, Canada. They had thought about going overseas to share
the love of Christ with others, but always answered with, "What can we possibly do?" Nevertheless, they took a position teaching English to Business majors at a
university somewhere in Southeast Asia.
God, in His providence, orchestrated the meeting
of this young man with this young married couple. A friendship
began and the relationship deepened. Soon, the young married
couple began sharing their faith and answering the many questions
this bright young man had: "Why did Jesus have to die?" and "How can I be a sinner if I have not committed a crime?"
Months after meeting with the Canadian couple,
this young man accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour; he began
his own journey of faith. Soon after that, this same young man
began to tell his friends about his new faith in Jesus Christ.
More and more students became interested and some accepted Jesus
Christ into their lives as well.
How is the world changed? How do we make an
IMPACT? The answer is simple ....
one by one.
